Cowgirl Booties!!!

OMG, these booties are so stinkin' cute! I'm gonna have to make a million more pair! Once again Elizabeth has done an amazing job with her pattern...it's PERFECT! (of course all of her patterns are!) The best part is...they can be made for girls and boys...so now I'm gonna have to make 2 million! LOL. I highly recommend The Lovely Crow patterns to every crocheter I know! And if you don't crochet...of course I do take custom orders! ;)

I purchased the pattern before class and wasn't able to start on them right away...talk about torture! So here I am at home, finishing my chili (I was really hungry) and then am going to get started! I can't wait to finish a pair! They are just tooooo cute! Ok...gotta finish the chili so I can get started!

Awkward Armadillo....

So I decided that I was going to make an ami armadillo from a free pattern my mom sent me called Roll Up Armadillo by Luna. There were a lot of little bits to the pattern but after awhile it started to take shape. I love making ami's because it's so much fun to see a little critter come to life. At first my new friend Fred was shy but finally he came out of his shell. For some reason the front leg was all crooked in the photo...but he can actually stand correctly on all 4's. And yes...Fred is a red head! He is actually a Buckeye Armadillo...made of scarlet and gray. Fred will be my new mascot when my Etsy shop opens!!! (Hopefully next week)

Sooo....It's been awhile!!!

It's been a very long while since I've had time to even think about putting anything into my Etsy store...but here I sit, getting everything ready to go! I'm excited about the opportunity to share my crafts with everyone again! I've been focusing recently on infant shoes by a wonderful Etsy crochet designer Elizabeth Alan, as well as some coffee cup cozies in many colors to keep your hands from burning as you sip your Starbucks...or other preferred brand! I'm hoping to start the Grand Reopening very soon...within the next week or so.

In addition to my crafting, I've been preparing to start Medic school Tuesday of next week! I'm so excited but am praying that I still have time for my crochet...or else I might lose my mind!

Well...off to work on some other fascinating project...or sleep. Lol. Goodnight world!
